Drug in sport
Hi my name is Carlene. Today I will talk to you about Drugs in Sport. Are you using P.E.D? P.E.D makes you become stronger so you can win the game. What is P.E.D? P.E.D stands for Performance Enhancing Drug. It makes a person’s body go faster and become stronger than it normally would be. How can a sportsperson be caught taking P.E.D? You can be caught through taking a test before and after the game. The test shows that you have P.E.D in your body. This is done through a blood test and urine test. Here are some side effects from using Performance Enhancing Drug. They include stomach pain, heart attack and a deep voice (for female). Sport people had died from the side effects of Performance Enhancing Drug. Some more side effects are brain cancer, liver cancer, bad breath, high blood pressure, and stroke and if you take streagu you will stop growing. Here are some names of famous people who had died by taking P.E.D. Don Roger was 23 year old when he died, footballer. David Waymer was 40 year old when he died, sport World Championship Wrestling. Here are some negative effects of P.E.D in sport. A sport person may have his/her medals taken away from them. If a test that shows a sport person has taken P.E.D he/she may be banned from his/her sport for a few years or even for life and have a bad record against their name.
Here are some positive effects of NOT taking P.E.D in sport. If you are a clean sport person and you refuse to take P.E.D you then earn the right to compete, earn a place fairly and keep all awards and rewards. You make the community happy and get respect for being honesty and loyal. If a sport person takes drug and if they came first all of their medals will be given to the 2nd sports person who didn’t take drugs. I think those drugs are not good for us in sport. If you take drugs you are a cheating in sport. What if your family friend and fans feel if you are using PED? How would they feel about you? Thank for listening to my speech.
